Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our infusion services, treatment process, and patient care.

Who administers my infusion treatments?

All treatments are administered by experienced registered nurses under physician supervision. Our clinical team follows evidence-based protocols to ensure safety and comfort.

How do I switch from my current infusion center to your facility?

Making the switch is easier than you might think. We handle the majority of the transition so you can focus on your health, not the paperwork. Here is how our simple three-step process works:

     1. Initial Contact: Reach out to us via our website or phone. You’ll just need to provide the name of your current medication and your insurance information.
     2. The "Heavy Lifting": Our clinical intake team coordinates directly with your current doctor to gather your medical records and active orders. We also manage the transfer of your insurance authorizations to ensure there is no lapse in coverage.
     3. Scheduling: Once the paperwork is verified, we’ll contact you to schedule your first appointment at a time that fits your life.

Note: You don't need to notify your current center until you are ready; we can manage the transition quietly and professionally to ensure your treatment schedule remains uninterrupted.

Where are treatments provided?

All treatments are provided at our LIVbetter outpatient infusion center in a private, professionally monitored setting.

Do I need a referral to receive treatment?

Some prescription infusions require a referral from your healthcare provider. Our team can assist with referral coordination and verification.

How long does an infusion appointment take?

Treatment times vary depending on the medication and individual care plan. Most infusions range from 45 minutes to several hours.

Is a medical consultation required before treatment?

Yes. All patients complete a medical intake and clinical review prior to receiving treatment to ensure safety and appropriateness.
